The QMT-1500 is sophisticated yet simple. Menus program all functions including heat and seal shoe pressure, leader and tail tape lengths, motor and acceleration speeds, as well as counting the number of parts in a run and any empty pockets.

Heat and shoe pressure are independently programmable. A warning signal alerts to an empty pocket. Swing away optics make filling the empty pocket quick and easy. Because the machine smoothly accelerates to speed, small parts aren't jostled from tape.

Tray Feed Attachment

The versatility of the QMT-1500 lends itself to a variety of options including our Tray Feed Attachment. The Tray Feed Attachment allows for loading up to (10) ten JEDEC trays, automatically ejecting the empty trays. Set-up procedures permit exact horizontal and vertical position in the pocket. Precision placement over the carrier tape preserves lead integrity. Vacuum and optical sensing in critical areas creates a "Closed Loop" effect to maximize throughput. Any partial tray is searched by the vacuum tip; if no part is present, it simply goes to the next position continuing the search.

Full intrusion guarding protects product and operator from harm. All QMT-1500 specifications apply for this option.

Vision System

The QMT-1500 provides maximum flexibility. The manual feed system
is easily upgraded to an automatic tube feed, bowl feed or vision system (shown to the right).
